   Coreopsis and Sedum are staples in the perennial garden. Each has several species that produce beautiful flowers and some bloom for an extended period of time. Both Coreopsis and Sedum will generally tolerate heat and drought. A few species in each genus attract butterflies for nectar.
   On this page we offer what we consider to be the best Coreopsis and Sedum varieties on the market today. Among the Coreopsis we offer are Coreopsis grandiflora 'Early Sunrise', Coreopsis lanceolata 'Sterntaler', Coreopsis 'Tequila Sunrise', Coreopsis rosea 'American Dream', and the new Coreopsis 'Limerock Ruby'.  Included in our choices of Sedum offerings are Sedum spectabile 'Autumn Joy', Sedum 'Meteor', Sedum 'Matrona', Sedum kamtschaticum, and Sedum 'Tricolor'.

We ship orders from our plant nursery from May through October.
   We are able to ship plants to the following states within the USA:  Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia. State and Federal regulations prohibit us from shipping to other destinations. If you do not live in one of the states we are permitted to ship to, please do not order. We will not ship your order and will charge you a $3.00 service charge to cancel your order and return your payment.

Most of our perennials are shipped in 3" to  4" nursery pots or liners.
A few may be shipped bare root.  All should bloom this summer.
Unless otherwise noted, the plants shown on this page prefer full sun. 

Coreopsis rosea 'American Dream'Coreopsis 'American Dream'
(Coreopsis rosea 'American Dream')

Growing 12"-18" high, Coreopsis 'American Dream' produces small pink flowers with yellow centers. It generally blooms all summer and like most Coreopsis, it is heat and drought tolerant and deer resistant.

Coreopsis grandiflora 'Early Sunrise', tickseedYellow Coreopsis
(Coreopsis grandiflora or Coreopsis lanceolata)

Growing 20"- 30" high, Yellow Coreopsis produces an abundance of 2" bright yellow flowers. It usually blooms June thru July and attracts several butterfly species for nectar. Deer resistant and drought tolerant.

Coreopsis 'Limerock Ruby'Coreopsis 'Limerock Ruby'

'Limerock Ruby' Coreopsis is new and sure to be a hit with gardeners. It grows 12"-15" high and blooms continuously from June thru September. Its flowers are 1" to 1-1/2" in diameter and are a velvety, ruby red. An outstanding performer, Coreopsis 'Limerock Ruby' is hardy only to zone 7, and should be treated as an annual in colder regions. Deer resistant.

Coreopsis 'Tequila Sunrise'  (with variegated foliage!)

Coreopsis 'Tequila Sunrise' grows to about 16" high and blooms June thru July. Its distinctive variegated foliage makes this plant an exciting one even when it is not blooming. 'Tequila Sunrise' Coreopsis produces bright yellow daisies with a brownish-red eye. Deer resistant.
Perennial, zones 4-9.        May be available in June.  

Coreopsis rosea 'Sweet Dreams' 'Sweet Dreams' Coreopsis
(Coreopsis rosea 'Sweet Dreams')

'Sweet Dreams' Coreopsis grows 18"-20" high and spreads quickly. It produces white daisies with a beautiful raspberry color surrounding the yellow center. It usually blooms July thru August. Deer resistant.

Sedum spurium 'Tricolor''Tricolor' Sedum
(Sedum spurium 'Tricolor')

'Tricolor' Sedum grows just 3" - 4" high and has beautiful green, white, and pink foliage. It produces clusters of light pink flowers in mid summer. A great rock garden plant which generally doubles in diameter every year!!  Deer resistant and drought tolerant.

Sedum 'Autumn Joy'
(Sedum spectabile 'Autumn Joy')

Probably the most well known Sedum, 'Autumn Joy' grows 18" - 30" tall and produces huge mauve-pink heads in late August. As the autumn season progresses, the flowers turn to a rusty mahogany color. Easy to grow and like most Sedums, deer resistant and tolerant of heat and drought.

Sedum Matrona'Sedum 'Matrona'

'Matrona' Sedum grows 18"-24" tall and produces large flower heads of soft pink in late summer. Its foliage carries a mahogany cast to it from spring thru fall. Deer resistant and drought tolerant.

Sedum 'Meteor'Sedum 'Meteor'

'Meteor' Sedum grows 15" - 20" high and produces large heads of unique pinkish-lavender flowers for a few weeks in late summer. Its succulent foliage is grayish-green. Sedum 'Meteor' does attract numerous species for nectaring in our butterfly garden. Deer resistant and drought tolerant.

Sedum kamtschaticumSedum kamtschaticum

Growing 6" - 10' high, Sedum kamtschaticum has succulent, scalloped, deep green leaves. The plant is usually covered with mounds of bright yellow flowers June thru July. Unlike many of the low growing Sedums, this one doesn't generally fall open in the center when its flowers appear. A nice edging plant that will spread as years go by.  Deer resistant and drought tolerant.
