They will also be periodically updated on which plants are especially nice at that particular time (making these plants a better buy at that particular time).|
find hundreds of plant nurseries on the Internet. Only a few though, might
offer higher quality butterfly bushes and perennials at prices lower than ours. Along with striving to produce high quality perennials at
competitive prices, we also try hard to offer many garden worthy
perennials that are
often difficult to find at other plant nurseries. Also
offered on our web site are lots of articles on butterfly gardening. To
access them, just visit the 'Articles' page of the web site. I hope you
enjoy your visit to our web site!
Discounted prices on many of our plants.
Complimentary snacks and drink.
there won’t be many perennials blooming yet in our gardens, you’ll be
welcome to stroll around our property and look at the many gardens which
are greening up and preparing to gift us with another season of beauty and
prime blooming period at our place is July and August, so if you like what
you see at our Open House, you might want to come visit again in July when
we offer our ‘Gardening for Butterflies’ presentations. Presentation
dates will be posted soon on the home page of our web site.

My husband, Andy Smith, is now in his early seventies and I'm a bit beyond
my mid sixties. Both of us have health issues and neither of us have the
strength or stamina we had 10 or 15 years ago. We have decided to ease
into retirement by offering this portion of the business,
ButterflyBushes.com, for sale and cutting back production and shipping to
just that of Monarchs and milkweed plants . We'll be offering Monarchs and
milkweed on a newly created web site, Monarchs-And-Milkweed.com, which is
up and running now.

Within the pages of this book you will learn how to design and plant a nectar-rich butterfly garden, identify many of the butterflies that visit your garden, lure butterflies to your property for egg-laying, and lots more.
Book format: 8.5" X 11"; 104 pages; over 100 color photos.
not publish a printed catalog.
Our inventory of butterfly bushes and perennials changes on a regular basis during the growing season (May thru October). The plant species we offer in May differs from what we offer in July, and what we offer in July is different from what we offer in September. Because our inventory changes from month to month, a catalog just would not work for our business. Our web site functions as our catalog.
